Christmas Afternoon Tea

The 26th marks the end of the Christmas holidays in Germany. Reason enough to celebrate again with a special afternoon tea served on a self made etagere.

2011 Christmas Card

Christmas Fireplace

Just in time, our fireplace with the little cute black stove is finished. The tea made with water from the stove tastes better than any other tea. At least that`s what we think.

Outside Christmas Lighting completed

Our outside Christmas lighting is finally completed. But there is lot of work that can be done inside.

Fireplace Christmas Decoration

This year, we are perfectly within the timing. It´s the last week of Nov and we have the first fireplace fully loaded with Christmas decoration.

Interior Christmas Decoration

Last weekend we have started to put up all interior Christmas decoration for 2011. This is our 'Disney Area' featuring mainly ornaments with famous Disney characters.

Heart Shaped Stool

For Christmas we got a cute heart shaped stool with a little hedgehog family living underneath.

Christmas Lighting 'foundation' completed

Slowly but surely the 'foundation' of our XMas lighting is completed. From now on we can apply additional detail items. Especially the tiny top floor window will be a challenge.

Christmas Lighting next phase

We are making good progress on our Christmas lighting. Nov 5th and we are already in the first floor with some warm white LED icicles. But still the right lighting for the windows is missing.

Hello Kitty meets range cooker in the kitchen

Just in time for the Christmas baking season our kitchen is ready. We think the style can be best described as a combination of cute Hello Kitty and traditional British range cooking.

Christmas Lighting Early Stages

We have used the last warmer days to apply some early stages outside lighting. This year's 'foundation' is all about warm white LED outline of the porch and the entrance. Hopefully we find some good stuff for the windows as well.

First Christmas Elf sighting in our Home

The first Christmas folks are trying to get the best seats in the house for the upcoming decoration season. This Christmas Elf even makes it´s move before Halloween. Very Smart.

New Bathroom is finished

Finally, after over three months of waiting our bathroom is finished. The very last faucet got delivered and everything was ready for set up.



Our favorites are grandma's radiators. They are approximately 160kg in weight each. We´ll see how they do once heating season has begun.

Porch Fall Decoration

The golden season is approaching and we started to decorate our porch accordingly. Under a set of decoration apples we have smuggled two of our products: The Home Made Granola and the Forbidden Double Chocolate Fudge Cake baking mix.
